OGDENSBURG, NY – The Frederic Remington Art Museum announces the artists for its 2008 Amateurs Only! juried art exhibition, which opens October 25, 2008 from 2 – 4 PM.
The 2008 Amateurs Only! juried art exhibition received a record number of images submitted by a record number of artists. Of the digital files representing 128 works by 48 artists, juror Agnes Murray selected 40 works by 37 artists for the exhibition, which runs from October 25, 2008 to January 16, 2009 in the Richard E. Winter Gallery of the Frederic Remington Art Museum in Ogdensburg, NY. This third biannual exhibit was open to any amateur artist in New York State.
